Day 28 (lock down)

Monday 20th April - bike **** - Felixstowe circuit – Sunny but windy.

After yesterday’s 15-mile wildlife watching bike ride around Felixstowe we decided to get up early and do it all again but the other way around! We left home at 6.15 and headed down to the prom, we bumped into our neighbours, one walking and the other out on his bike. We again stopped at the fishing lake for a cuppa but not many birds today. In fact we saw much more later in the day yesterday, the highlight being a large herd of deer with the River Orwell as a backdrop:) Then home for exercises and a late breakfast watching the wind whipping up our washing on the line, another hard day for a windsurfer here in Felixstowe who can’t go out onto the water and more forecast tomorrow! I spotted two kitesurfers and a windsurfer out at Felixstowe yesterday and posted a webcam pic on the local kitesurf Facebook page and it got 84 comments most in support for keeping off the water:)
